Kayak for the Warriors Event

Posted as a non club event, the 11th annual “Kayak for the Warriors” event scheduled for Saturday, June 2nd, at Garner Park in Pine Knoll Shores, NC. The event fee is $50, which includes a t-shirt and a barbecue lunch. It is a great fun day that supports Hope For The Warriors, a 501(c)3 with a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator. As many of you know, a group of paddlers have been making the trec (paddling) from Raleigh to New Bern on the Neuse River all this week.   At last week’s TRPC meeting,  Larry and Bill said; on Saturday, they would leave Cow Pen Landing around 8am and be at;  Middle School ~9am,  Weyerhauser ~10am,  Glenburnie ~11am.  How about we join them on their journey down to New Bern?
